Default Align esc....DEAD

Figures...

So when I plugged in my batterys, the regular initiation beeps...*beep beep....beep bluuurrp* that one, well that does not happen anymore, nor does it go into programming mode, or even spool up. The servos and everything else did work though..

Only 7 flights!!! And I bought the kit about 2-3 weeks ago.

Ill be calling assurance and finding out what they will do to replace it.

Don't know if you have it already or are waiting on it to arrive but if the CC80A is anything like the CCHV85 it really pays to watch Bob's video on setting up the throttle end points. I never found that endpoint setup tid-bit in the Phoenix documentation and couldn't get the thing to do any thing until I watch his video. It was a snap after that.

It was kinda cool to be doing the same thing he was doing just about a second behind him. I put it on the TR-600 to get away from that hard jerk the 600 has on startup. That ESC is great when you get it programmed right. Does the CC80A work with the Castle Link USB Interface? If so I would recommend that too. It is so much easier than listening for the beeps and moving the throttle.

Yes, I know of his videos, and have followed them before with my 35A. Have the castle link too. For the $ that you spend on it, its great stuff, in my opinion. Sure the jazz is nicer...but ouch does it break the bank.

CC can be right up there in price too, but more places near myself and Jason carry the CC esc's and they are easier for us to get... I personally really like the CC esc's and have had nothing but good luck with them. I would like to try a jazz one day, but for now i'll stick with my CC

15 volts means 4s maximum battery. Most likely why it is so cheap.
