I checked the blade size before saying 'effectively' and it was in response to the comment wishing for MSH 550!!! where the whole thread and other comments are about new different things- not thinking MSH would go through design and production of a whole new heli to give you that precious 1.77 inch.

Will anyone be flying it at the 3D Masters this year? Competing or just demo?

A "Real" 550: 550mm blades 6S 5000 Batts
Similar size to Logo 500 or Trex 550e
Perfect size to share packs with 700's

Whatever size we decide to make there will be people asking for something else..............

So just be happy with the next size ( 700 ) or just don't care about it, keep asking for different size will not impact our choices much

When designed new 700mm size heli, did you take in consideration possibility it running smaller blades without negative effects? Like 600 or something in between?

Did you ever consider supplying it with different size booms/belts? (as extras would do as well) Having 700mm blades as standard, it shouldn't, in theory, allow it having somewhat shorter boom and/or shorter blades, right? Just asking!

Well said. You can never please everyone. I want to see a Protos 700 win a top 5 position in 3D Masters this year.

I remember one of the 500 Prototypes had a similar design.

Egbert.

For a 700 is a nice layout: protected battery packs, clean install and much more room for new motors.

My gut feeling is that you will offer a 600 shortening kit (short tail boom, control rod, boom support rods, and belt, main grips) sometime after the 700 is out in the market. Or maybe even include it in the kit. Hint, hint...
