Default Setup Spektrum DX7 & Reflex XTR

Hello Gang;

OK, I just got rid og RealFlight G2 & got Reflex XTR, I have a Spektrum DX7. Now, I want to use the Raptor 50 thats in Reflex since Im putting togeter a Raptor 60, & I figure that raptor 50 is probably ver close.

Any advce on how I should setup my Radio? & should I change any of the parameters of the helicopter?

Any Advice?

Thanks

Albert

Hey Albert-

I've been using Reflex for about 5 months, and I've had the best success with kind of mixing the adjustments between the radio and the software. Things like model weight, rotor rpm, blade length, aileron/elevator/rudder expo, and motor power are best adjusted on the software. I use the radio to trigger dual rates and flight modes, and make changes to those on the radio. My pitch curves are cookie-cutter 0-INH-50-INH-100 for the stunt modes, and my throttle curves are 100-INH-85-INH-100 in the stunt modes. With these really basic curves, it makes it easy to see exactly what kind of change to the model does what. I've found that not only have I been getting good stick time, but that it's also helped me make good decisions about how to modify and tune my real birds.

Hope that helps....

-Ray

Hi there, I'm very new in this hobby and now I have reflex xtr with DX7 for simulation. Would you mind share how do assign the channels correctly. Why when I throttle up, all the channel in the display seem to move in their own direction instead of pitch and throttle going up. I already made a separate model for reflex where I resetted the Tx to default setting. Thanks in advance

Bilbil,
in menue F7 there is a switch in every line to invert / reverse this special channel. Does this help for you?

you need to turn off swash mixing. what you are seeing is the aileron, elevator, and pitch channels moving in conjunction with the swash. you need to disable that by using the 90 degree 1 servo swash
