Polaris vs CC BEC.
I'm replacing a Castle CC BEC with a Polaris to power a Bavarian Demon on my 450 . The Gyro has exhibited low power supply symptoms using the little CC. The two BEC's have the same spec's on paper however I'm hoping that at near twice the cost , the Gryphon will offer better performance ! If the Gryphon BEC indeed performs to it's spec . it should be ample.
I would just go to the CC PRO that most on the BD Forum have used however space is an issue on the little Heli. Anyone able to confirm the Gryphon products being of better quality than the Castle offering , particularly the CC BEC.

Hi.
My experience with gryphon products are good. I use both Polaris, agena and the quasar, and even though I use servos that can use much higher peaks then it's rated to, I've never had a issue. I won't comment on quality versus other brands, but my experience with gryphon is top quality, and performance. I'm sure it will do what's needed on your heli |
