Neat shot. Which fuse is this? If it is the Funkey (Century Heli) 500, I noticed that you didn't have to trim down the top for flybar clearance as has been reported in other posts here. What was your trick?

Thanks in advance!!

Here is my 2 , 450 and 600. I went with an align painted for a display canopy, which I will fly one day,on the 600 cause I am tired of painting. see 2nd picture for reason why I don't fly it.

hi cbdane - yes - Funkey (Century Heli) 500. No trick just very careful on spool up and flying. I reduced end points to 80% - thought of a break away engine cover but that's not ideal -

I just finished doing what I call a redraw of a t-rex 600 I found on this thread.
It is qwerty bounce tester photo and what great detail it has. if you notice it is in flight and you can see every part on it as it spins.

qwerty bounce tester PM me your address and shirt size and I'll send you a shirt.

Thanks for a great photo!

*FINALLY* got my 600's lid finished up yesterday... Still need to do the final buffing on it, but it looks pretty good as is... Pics don't do the pearlescent blue any justice an I'm debating whether or not I want to put any stickers on it..

and lastly, my entire Trex collection (with a Raptor 50 thrown in for good measure)

lol, yeah I think so. Thanks a TON for all the help with my questions cuda...

I love this House of Kolor paint... SOOO much faster than using rattle cans and the results are excellent. I literally threw away my El Cheapo Campbell Hausfeld touch up gun after picking up a nice HVLP gun at the paint supply store... I kinda wanna paint my 240SX now.. ehehhe

Thanks again!

Yeah, the pearl effect is really cool under the sun... Wish photos could portray it better. The silver is also pearlescent, but it didn't come out as "pearly" as the blue..

The whole thing is smooth as glass too. The HoK tech manual was a GREAT help in making it all work, especially the wet sanding parts.. Cuda helped a lot too by answering a whole mess of PM'd questions.

New lid should be here early next week and I'll get painting on it Saturday and see what comes out.. I'm thinking Copper as a base color.

FWIW - Anyone in San Diego.. Meza Auto Paint supply in Escondido rocks. Talk to Sonny
