Default Quality question

Hello

I have:

http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...dProduct=28750

http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...a_V2_SMA_.html

But I've changed the transmitter to this one:

http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...earch=600%20mw

I havent been out on a very very open field, there is a big fotball field +++ plenty of grass. And then I have many houses all around and the city nearby.
But when I take the quad dji f450 and fly low right above the grass and passing maybe 70 meters or something I'm starting to get black white in the googles, I have to gain som altitude. On some videos here I see guys flying in the forrest far away, I'm wondering how they do it?
Do you guys think it helps get to a place there are noe houses at all etc? like on a very very big open field, or up in the mountains or in a forrest?

I just bought this transmitter, it's a very good choice, Ready Made RC recommended it, though, I also bought different antennas as the one this unit bring is just an excuse of placing one on it.

Here are the antennas I bought for Tx/Rx

Also, 5.8Ghz Frequency has the best image quality when flying but the poorest signal of all the rest, I'm no expert (Just starting on FPV) but as I have read, 1.3Ghz or 900Mhz have stronger signal but poorer image quality.

With 5.8Ghz, the less obstacles between you and your flying device, the less signal loss you'll experience, this is why when you fly higher you have better signal.
