Yeah, he's a lot better at it than his Momma!

I told him I wanted to get the whole field, straight down over the 50 yard line. He kept telling me "go higher"......"go higher". The heli is approaching my comfortable vertical limit, it was waaaay up there. I'm thinking, WTF? I look over at the monitor and I guess he thought I meant I wanted the whole High School property. Not only that, but I was on the other side of the stadium and he had the camera pointed past vertical and partially inverted to keep the stadium in the center of the frame.

Great experience, we're both learning! I want to get something that will tell me my altitude. I'd like to know exactly how high I'm really flying.

Got these today of our county courthouse. I couldn't have gotten these images from my big gasser... The flight area was tight but more than enough for a small electric!

EDIT - well, I could have gotten these with my gasser... but it would have been at great risk to heli and building! So much so that I would not have done it with the gasser.

Man I'm having fun!!!

EDIT - Here's the location on Google Maps

Nice ones Wes. The aerial perspective really makes a difference in the Bank shots. The elevated shot is more appealing.

What electric did you get and which camera are you using?

Got a Century Swift with an Askman front mount. Camera is Panasonic DMC-LX1. I've got an extra AP2000i I'm going to install and see how well it stabilizes the heli... I really like the small size and ease of use.

Thanks. Solar is a good market to go after. They love roof shots of their jobs.

Looks like you better stay in Cali then instead of moving to TN.

I don't have any solar panels around here either.

I think inground pool companies is another good market. With a heli and a mast, you can get some awesome shots of pools.

the Logo is kickin' a$$! I've been shooting real estate almost 4-5 times a week with this Logo for the past month. Even in 105°+ temps it just keeps tickin'!

shots from today (107° outside )

Nice shots DJ, they look great.

Send some of that sun this way. I'm down here in Orlando playing with my new friend Ernesto.
Hopefully he goes elsewhere tomorrow.
