Default Basic CB100

I've been thinking about getting one of these. I have a 4G6 already with the 2801 tx which i could use with it.
I saw on WOW hobbies a price of 139.00
My question is Wow offers upgrade motors that really jack the price up. Does the basic stock version not fly well?? Do the motors burn up or what?
How do the upgraded versions compare?
I just want something to puts around at work and is reliable.
Thanks

I'm always a big fan of going stock on these in the beginning... enjoy it, fly it, have lots of fun getting to know her... If you find that you enjoy flying her a year later, but are getting bored, then an upgrade would be a great way to breathe new life into your flying experience.

I agree with Steve, get the heli stock and fly it until you need the upgrades. The cb100's weakest point so far by the user's reports is it's fragile tail motor.
Chinese Jade sell the stock heli, no TX with an upgrade 2.9g tail motor (which is one of the best).
