Default New Lepton Flybalress Head.

Here is mine version of FBL head for Lepton.

This is an Lepton that I purchase a couple of years back when I was trying CSM flybarless....very long time ago.

Now it is with compass grip...and file the main shaft a bit to bring the head further down so I can use the original holes on the bearing.

Also mod an trex pinion 3.17 shaft 12T to use on the tail to speed up the tail ratio....so far works very well for me. A bit noisy...but work well at everything I throw at it.

Hi there, I am amazed that your tail mod works so well! How long do you think the belt will last though? Great head mod btw.
Eric.

Default Yup I hope it last

Eric,
That was my concern also, I did file the sharpness down a bit to make sure the belt stay.
I had 10 flights so far, did not see any ware on the belt so far.

Hi, have you considered modifing this to fit? http://helidirect.com/metal-cnc-tail...sah-p-5872.hdx
All the best,
Eric.
Btw I think your use of the motor pinion is very imaginative. Hope it lasts.

Helibelly,

Ok been traveling, no chance to work on the Lepton.

My original Lepton is already running 13T tail ... but it is not very good and it could blow out in extreme movement.

Just got it stretch and put in a SAB 475mm blade....
Hope to try it out tomorrow.
It is now running with GT5.

Jonathan

Hi, I suppose larger tail blades would be the next step then.
What do you mean by GT5 btw?
Eric.
