Default gaui x5 servo

I bought a gaui x5 with no servo's or gyro and was told my align 500 servo's well fit right in well thought that I would try and they don't....the gaui mounting hole's are to far apart to mount up....he did have a gaui upgrade on the mainframe and now just wondering if it takes different bigger servo's or not...
if anyone has a x5 out there what size servo you use? I'm new at this bigger heli thing and I had no idea they get bigger in size at all....

I don't know who told you that, but they're incorrect. Gaui's use standard sized servos which is common among larger, high performance machines.

Your 500 uses "mini" sized cyclic servos. Standard sized servos are the next size up. There are many many choices to choose from.
