So you need 3
1 for speed
1 for 3D
1 for duration

Good idea!

1 for speed = TDR Henseleit
1 for 3D = Logo xxtreme 700
1 for duration = Trex 600 (stretched to 700)

and don't forget
1 for fpv = One ugly heli

You already know what I am running Ben, but I will post anyway.

Pyro 800-48L
Kosmik 160
18T pinion
Set Up halfway between Norman and Kyle

I only have six flights on it, but I am REALLY liking the feel of this machine! I can do my smooth flying a lot better than I was doing with the Rice Crispy machines (snap, crackle and pop). After the second flight my rolling circles (which I used to pride myself on back in the days of real 90 sized nitro machines) are 90% back.

As other's have mentioned before, it flies great with the 713s, but would be best with a 726 (listening Matt?) or 730 blade. I have heard the 753 is too much, which I could see. The autos are fine, but I haven't really pushed it. I think the longer blades would be awesome there as well.

I will probably take it out this weekend and really lean on it (yes Ben, I will be logging).

The last thing I will say about the Logo 700 is the presence in the air. I was probably the most vocal person online with my dislike of the Logo 800 canopy. I still don't "like it", but the 700 has really grown on me. I know it is still the same shape, but I really like the proportions of the 700.

In low light conditions the visibility is great. The presence isn't about the color though. It just has a certain look to it that just commands attention, but not in a "twelve clowns climbing out of a car way" (sorry Goblin guys). It is like something you admire and really pay attention to in a "wow, that is a damn smooth and powerful machine" way.

Quick addition to the post above... I haven't ordered my new Opti-Power packs yet, but all of my flying thus far have been with my "old" Opti 4300mAh, 30C packs and they are doing GREAT. I really thought it would be too much for those, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I will admit I am doing some mild/medium flying but I am getting 4 min on those packs and putting 80% back in. I look forward to the new 5000mAh 50C packs!

Hi Ryan, thanks for the info. What's the weight of the machine without the batteries? And are you happy with the Pyro 800-48L? I'm looking for a motor to run very low headspeed for smooth scale/sport flying with the L700.

I can get the weight tomorrow. The scale is at the hangar.

I absolutely love this machine at all headspeeds. With low head speed it is like slow-mo 3D, which I really like. It pushes me to see how slow I can do a piro flip. Hopefully I will find someone to video a flight soon.
