Perry your son flew AWESOME at Morgan Hill. I coulldn't believe the number of logo's that were there. He is quite intertaining with that 450 Pro too.

Kyle's a corn fed big kid. He had some Gnarly traps on him when he was 16. You should have him training for cage fighting not Rc helicopters lol.

Sick flight as always, can't wait to see how creative he gets with autos on 800 size blades. I'm already stealing that inverted big pop rainbow auto. I blame Kyle for a countless number of broken landing skids over the past 6 months.

Curious How much the extreme weighs locked and loaded?

Yep. Since Kyle has been flying the XXtreme so much, he's lost his "edge" with the Logo 600 some. Jesse I think would kick his butt now in a head-to-head Logo 600 shoot-out

BTW, does anyone know the setup used there?

i'm more impressed with kyle -astonishing- flying than by the machine itself. The two together are to my opinion a perfect perfect match. Smooth, fluid, yet precise and poppy. I also fear for these years opponent !

That sounds freaking awesome! It is quiet, but sounds like a beast at the same time. I freaking love it!

While watching this video one name came to mind: PETE NIOTIS!!

I always enjoyed the refreshing and surprising transitions that Pete would pull off during his flights. Kyle uses some creative transitions. Most importantly, the Niotis style of fluid flying is still alive today in the midsts of "smack" on the deck trend.

Thanks Kyle! I completely enjoyed that flight.

Meh. That's what my mCPx sounds like. LOL!

Awesome job guys!

I have to chuckle a bit now when I think of all those trolls who posted that the XXTreme "looks like it'll perform like a pig..." Well, that pig looks pretty darn nimble to me.

Question, "BTW, does anyone know the setup used there".

Kyle has been testing several different "set-ups". But the one in the two videos posted so far are: 14S 5000mah class batteries, YGE 160 amp ESC on the V-Bar's governor, Scorpion 5035 motor (kv is custom at the moment for the proposed gearing of the XXtreme, so I'll remain silent on that at the moment), 1750 head speed, +/- 12 degrees of collective, 813mm Edge main blades, Edge 115mm tail blades.

I was amazed how quiet the gear train and blades were for a heli that size and of course how nimble it is. There really is no way to gauge the size of that heli from the way it moves in the video due how quick it flips and maneuvers. That is some impressive engineering (and flying) to make it fly that tight. How do the dampeners compare to a Logo 600, is it a different design?

I recently saw a ASJ video of a Trex600 on 12S and first thing I noticed was the distinctive TRex gear sounds were noisier than normal.

The XXTreme is going to be a hit. Great job Mikado, Kyle, and Perry on capturing what should be a very desirable machine.
