Default 800mx motor in v2 frames

has anyone tried it shoe horn a 800mx 520 kv motor into the v1-v2 700 airframe?? it looks tight

Its tight but fits no problem - I've had an 800mx in mine for 30 flights. You do need the metal elevator servo mount with the open (relieved side) facing the motor to clear it. The standard plastic elevator mount doesn't fit with this motor.
