Default ceramic bearing no but hybrid or they good?

hi guys i read alot about the os 55 rear bearing i think mine is gone i saw that the ceramic is no good but they sell a combination of ss whit ceramic
http://www.rcbearings.com/os-55-hyper-bearings/ i am looking at the 6902 and the r6zz for the front .....i know alot of peaple like the ss but i would like to ear if some one used them
i change all my bearing in begening of each season that why i am not 2 worry about destroying a engine and i belive that even ss if it blows it should destroy a engine 2

thanks

I have been using those Hybrid Ceramic (Silicon Nitride) bearings in my 55HZ for Several months now with alot of flights, and I am happy with them. They have worked for me when nothing else would hold up.

They are the same ceramic bearings though that people are recommending against using. All I can say is, they are what I am sticking with.

Just do some looking around the forums, and see what you find about them. People tend to think any ceramic is bad in an engine. I'm only 1 bearing in right now, so my experience isnt extensive with them, but so far I'm impressed with them.

I've ran close to 20 gallons through my OS 55HZ with the rcbearings.com ceramics, both front/rear, w/out any issues whatsoever...they are just as smooth now as the first flight!

Thats great info, and good to hear there is success with these long-term. I'm probably in the neighborhood of 10 gallons on my ceramic. Last month alone, I logged 38 flights on my 600N.
