Fusuno also makes some plastic tail blades for the 300X. I've never tried them, but it might be worth grabbing a set for comparison.

I just use the blade cf ones. Over 200 flights on them, fit align grips and still look as good as new. Cracks appearing in the lynx ones put me off plastic tail grips. I still have an unopened set of lynx plastics, might use them in an emegency.

Which Align tail grips are you running Andy? Is it this one?

The ones I have are plastic and the CF blades don't fit. They look sort of like these, but I think they're discontinued...

Maybe I'll pick up a new tail hub the next time I'm ordering parts.

I was digging through my parts bin last night and I actually have one of these H45034T. I must have bought it a while back and just forgot about it. The Blade CF blades I have do fit, barely. They bottom out when I try to fold them back a few degrees off center, but they do sit obstruction free when they are straightened out. I kind of like them to be able to fold back for when I put it in the case. Maybe I'll try sanding on them a little bit to see if I can get them to swing back a little more.

The only ones I've seen (other than the craptacular Blade brand CNC tail grips) where they fit perfectly are the Lynx tail grips. I have a set of those, but I damaged it in a crash a long time ago and never repaired it. It's just kind of overpriced, the service bag is hard to come by and I never really liked the design all that much.

I filed the ends of mine, did it on both my 450s too and not had a problem. I am also using the metal spacers on the out side of the blades on the 300x. The tail is rock steady with very little vibes and no balancing.

That's who makes lynx blades. Or they both have theirs manufactured at the same place. Some microheli blades are 100% the same too.
