Default Tail-Blade replacement

So the other day I received in an envelope a very kind package from a fellow member. I got a set of green Lynx tail-blades for my 300x.
When trying to remove the bolts on the blade grips, I found them to be a very interesting design that I wasn't familiar with.
I had one allen wrench that fitted one end perfectly, but of all the billion allen wrenches, I could not find one to fit the other end. Then noticed because it was rounded inside, and not rounded as in chewed-up but purposely rounded? I had to use plyers on one end to grip the bolt while I unscrewed the other end. Really annoying. I also noticed there was thread-lock there so of coarse I re-thredlocked it when I bolted on the new ones.
But the question is, how do you guy's like this set-up and what would you do differently? There should be an easier way to replace the tail-blades at the field.

Oh, and by the way. Thank you kind sir you know who you are!

I got rid of the blade tail grips and went with the align 450 metal grips, I also have a set of lynx ones for backup. Metal are much better.

1+ trash the stock ones. Align 450 or the lynx work great. I'm flying 4,000 rpms governed on mine with a small piece of tape for balance and it is very smooth.

If you're talking about the stock ball-end nut for stock tail blade grip then just use the same socket driver for the nylon nuts. Works every time. BTW, Lynx 47mm tail blades may be too long for stock blade grips. If you had your setup perfect before with as high tail gain possible just before tail wag then you'll most likely get tail wag now with the longer and more responsive tail blades. People use 47mm tail blades with 450 or Lynx tail grips, which is exactly why I asked earlier if you're using stock blade grips or not.

Aw, okay. I'm still not sure if I want to go with silver Lynx, or Rakon's green alloy.
