Well, got my travel case today and I am coming. As I said earlier I do not have an AMA number do to me being from The Bahamas. Is there any way I can get one before the event so that I can register to get the discount and free T-shirt

Heli Wholesaler will be donating a T-Rex 700 ready to fly! Yes, just like that. Simply add a receiver and your transmitter and go!

I will personally build this model and get it ready to be given away at the event.

You should be able to pay for an AMA membership at the time you register for the event.

You could probably get AMA online before you leave Bahamas, just go tohttp://www.modelaircraft.org/ Once you fill out the forms and pay, you'll get your AMA number I believe, if not, you'll at least have a form you can print and bring with you as prove. As far as pre-registration is concerned, if you don't have your AMA number, just pre-register and enter "APPLY" in the AMA number field.

I contacted a friend that works at AMA headquarters....here is what she responded with:

Non-US residents need to apply for an Affiliate membership (http://www.modelaircraft.org/files/903.pdf), cost is $28. He can apply for that ahead of time or at the sanctioned event. Being able to accept AMA membership is one of the perks of sanctioning an event.

If you haven't pre-registered yet, do so because we're getting very close to the 50th pre-registered pilot. Number 50 will get a free gyro from Inertia R/C. Number 100 will automatically get one of the logo kits from ReadyHeli
