Just like in previous years the entire PRCF field will be used for this years San Diego Heli Fun Fly. The primary flying area will be the runway and the heli field can be used for training, testing and flying.

We'll have night flying on Friday so pilots can test out their systems. Saturday night will be the main night for night flying. For spotlight flying we'll do that before 10pm to accomodate the neighborhoods across the freeway.

We are having some awesome weather this week - sunny and warm. I expect that the rest of May will remain pretty much the same. Make sure that you guys bring your hats and have some sunscreen available.

Guys - Make sure that you pre-register so that we can get your AMA number verified before the event. On the day that you arrive all you will need to do is sign the required AMA forms and then you're good to go.

You can go to the PRCF website to register: www.palomarrcflyers.com

On the actual registration page you'll need to click on both the "Submit" button (for the registration) and the "Donate" button (to pay the registration fee). Thanks!

For those of you who are bringing RVs, campers or tents and want to arrive early, we'll have the gates open starting Thursday afternoon for you.

If the number of early arrivals starts to grow past a few of you and you've pre-registered we'll probably get you processed early and let you start flying on Friday morning.
