Guys,

We are going to extend the online pre-registration until 5pm (Pacific time) Monday May 20, 2013. After that date pilots will only be able to register at the event and the price will increase to $25/pilot.

Get your registration in early and save $10.

When you pre-register we contact the AMA and confirm your status. We do this before the event so that when you arrive at the field we can speed up your registration and get you out to the field as quickly as possible.

The field will be open on Thursday May 23 for you "early birds" with your RVs and campers.

We are just a few days away from the start of the 2013 San Diego Heli Fun Fly and if you want to pre-register yourself please take care of that today. Go to www.palomarrcflyers.com and follow the link to the registration page. It's a 2 part process so make sure that you register and you pay.

We'll be shutting down the online pre-registration tonight at midnight tonight and after that you'll be able to register at the field for $25.

We've got new event t-shirts this year and I think you'll really like them. This year we decided to go with long sleeve shirts in white with a new event graphic on the back. We will have a limited number of them so make sure that if you want one you get it early.

I've heard from Jeff Fassbinder and he's told me that a couple of the Align pilots will be at the field on Saturday flying their helis. ray nemovi is talking about putting together a Heli Drag Race and a Spot Landing Contest for Saturday afternoon. And don't fiorget your night rigs if you want to participate in the Night Flying on saturday evening.

Palomar RC Flyers Club President Bill Hill today made a presidential decree that onsite registration for the San Diego Heli Fun Fly shall not exceed $15.00.

Never one to mince his words President Hill stated "This is a Fun Fly, dammit, so we're gonna make it easier to have fun!"

So there you have it folks, straight from the PRCF Newsroom.

That a boy Bill!! I knew I gave him a good deal on that Honda generator for a reason. Looking forward to coming out and hovering around on Sat. Glad you guys decided to bring the original SD event back.

I don't know if anyone can help. But I'm trying to put together a blitz avro and can use some servos, motor, and blades. If you guys have anything on the cheap let me know. I will be at the Funfly and could pick up parts.
Again not in a rush but if you have some parts not being used and just sitting around let me know.
