You should make a post asking this in the 450 area.
This way many get to participate and learn.

Lots of questions in your post and many have many alternatives and debates.

Are there any in depth videos on setting up p mixes to eliminate all ccpm interactions throughout the servo travel range?

Oh man! I have only been into rc helis for a few months, and worked from a mcx2 to nano qx to msr/120sr. I picked up a nano cpx a few days ago, and even though I have lots to learn before I even consider anything more than hovering, I am totally absorbing all the info I can find. This thread is absolutely awesome, and even though I'm only a few videos in, I just wanted to stop and say thanks to anyone who has contributed to this thread. What a great thing you've done for a noon like me!

Anyway, back to more vids!

Default setting up a Esky Belt CP on the SD-10G

Greetings everyone. New here with a question and hope someone can walk me through it,
I just picked up a nib Esky Belt CP V1. I want to set it up on my SD-10 as I am more comfortable with the feel of this radio and not used to my DX8. I also don't have any receivers for it as of yet, Now to get to the nitty gritty of how I have the channels set up and trying to figure the correct swash plate setting. I am using a full range 92664 FH1 6 channel rx. my channel assignments are as follows ch1 ele, ch2 ail, ch3 th, ch4 ru, ch5 gy, ch6 pi.
I know this is a 120 swash plate but for the life of me I can not figure out how to set that in the radio though I have read through the manual.
I left the stock esc on it but removed the plastic wrap from the heat sink and moved it to under the main gear so that air is blown over it at all times. I also replace they gyro with the Detrum GY48V. it has the stock servos for now but I will be running a 3S2200 pack. Finless chime in on this and help me get this bird in the air. I plan to only fly scale and intend to do a scale fuse kit at some point, maybe even a flybarless multi head. Would love to find an HH60 Jayhawk fuse kit at some point once I am comfortable with this bird.

Any videos on the latest trex 600 dfc? I was hoping bob would've had them. He was the best guide I ever had when I built my 600 pro a few years ago.

Well, I was still able to use the old 600 videos to build my 600 dfc. Bob does the best videos I've ever seen. I appreciate ALL of the videos made by other people and will thumbs up them every time, but as a guide or doing videos these are the best. We need some new people to cover some of the newer stuff coming out.

Not sure if this helps; I use DivX ( free trial version available) to convert from many different file formats to .mp4 so that I can have movies on my iPhone. 5s running iOS 8.1.1.

You would probably need a pc to do the conversions then move the converted files into iTunes (running on that pc/laptop) then you can "sync" them over to the iPad. and correct me if I'm wrong but I thought I saw iTunes has a conversion function.

Just thinkin out loud...

Ok now that I responded to a dusty post....

I want to say a Huge Thank You to Finless for his CCPM set up video's. I was ready to throw my heli out the door last night. Today another awesome HF member (Uriah) pointed me to this thread. Your video's helped me understand so much, and helped things click in my head. I was overwhelmed with a problem and doing a setup after a rebuild. The stress and frustration was really coming from all the unknowns. What I thought was a problem was really just something I was overlooking... Hold the flybar while setting pitch... dont't ask...
I just finished with a full 6:30 test hover and was pleased that I could rebuild my 500 and have it fly. I'm going to watch some more video's and give a couple more views to the CCPM vid's too. I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to get my 5003D as dialed in as is possible with it.
Thanks again to HF and Finless and everyone else who is helping with my learning curve

Peace
