Bob,

Mine ways 1738grams without batteries but with Trex 600 u/c, Futaba 146iP Rx, but no lipos as they vary depending on the size - my Kong Powers weigh 206 grams each the A-Plus's 2200 25C weigh 180 grams each.

Therefore weight with 2 x KP = 2150 grams, 4lbs 11oz
or with 2 x A-Plus = 2098grams, 4lbs 10oz

Cheers,
Mike.

4lb 3 oz? That's 1903 grams. Assuming a 6s3300 battery is 515 grams, that means your at 1388 grams without the battery.
MikeJ is at 1738g without the battery and without the eagletree I presume.

How do you account for the difference?

I must have measured wrong the first time....I had a problem balancing the heli on the scale. This time I used a platform and zeroed out the tare wt.

Empty wt is 4lbs 1852 g
2500's wt 14.8 oz 424 g

3300's wt 1lb 3oz 544 g

so my max wt with the 3300 is "5lbs 3 oz" 2396g
2500's 4lbs 14.8 oz 2276 g

Sorry for the mistake.....that seems to be more in line with others and is much more accurate the way I weighed it this time.

Bob,

Unfortunately it is without an Eagletree as I don't have one yet

The weight (1738 grams) is fully built with Futaba R146iP rx, Dimension SportBEC, Gaui 50 amp ESC, Gaui 850Kv motor, 3 x 3001 on cyclic and 3151 on the tail with a Telebee gyro, it is with short boom and 500mm main blades and CNC pitch, aileron and elevator levers, plastic main frames.

With 2 x KP 2200's it weighs in at 2150 grams.

Cheers,
Mike.

It looks as if my 550 needs to go on a diet I know that part of this is down to the Trex U/C, and I have just bought a DX7 so putting the AR7000 in should help also. Then I can put some of the weight back on with the Eagletree
