Gryphon Quasar HV BEC Not Properly Powering Up My FBL Controller
Hi all,
I'm new to the Gryphon series of electronics. Recently bought a used Gryphon Quasar Hyper HV BEC from a member in for sale forum. I set it up for 6s input. I originally powered the unit ON the way it came from the seller and everything seemed to work. It was setup so the all the dip switches were in the down position (OFF) and there was some potentiometer setting. I then setup the dip switches so that it would output 7.4 volts but left the voltage potentiometer as is. Now for some reason, when I power up the unit it that's plugged in to my Vbar Neo FBL controller, the controller flashes but does not arm. I removed the BEC from my Neo and plugged in a Scorpion backup guard (direct 7.4v lipo bat source) and now the Neo arms perfectly w/a solid green LED. What gives? Is there some setting on the unit that I don't have setup correctly or is unit defective? Thanks in advance, byter182

Just tested the BEC in all the Dip Switch orientation. It appears as if the only way you get juice out of the unit is when all the dip switches are in the OFF position.
