Hiding within the servo port. There's no real reason to get at it though, once it's in there.

Knowing motor rpm is enough to get rotor rpm. I don't know what CC data format looked like, but if it is similar to ET, you can import it to excel with very minor modification. A few excel small macros would calculate headspeed and plot any parameters you like.

i know it is very easy to figure rotor rpm that way,but at the same time if its that easy why not implement it into the software?you already have to put your gear ratio for set rpm mode so it already knows that.rotor rpm is the more usefull data so why not include it

hey guys, just did a GAUI FBL conversion on my Mini Titan...the mini titan is odd compared to other helicopters, in that by moving the swash down, the blades get more positive collective.

So i flipped the Gaui Grips so that the blade is leading and the arm thats part of the blade grip is BEHIND (or trailing) the blade. Follow me so far?

So i was wondering, will this have ANY effect on the flight characteristics? thanks!

this is a long debated question.if i were you i would leave the leading edge as it was designed that way and works great, all you have to do is reverse the swash mix for your pitch in the software

Default Question for Art...

I am in the research mode now and evaluating all the options (V-bar, Gyrobot and SK..) I will definatly wait for the release of the new SK720 to see what options it will have.
Being a beginner myself I was kind of attrracted to the "Beginner Mode" on Gyrobot 900 but than again the price on it is no where close to my budget.

All I want to have is a unit that will keep the heli pretty stable and tamed down, I am not into 3D (I want to run a T-rex 500 with Scale Fuselage...)

Do you think SK720 will be something for me ?

Thanks

definately since it has the bail-out feature....and you can put in GPS and a few others, so it will do what YOU want. Once the 720 is out itll be on my heli right away

Why not just mount the grips so that they are leading?

Perhaps the Mini Titan's stock head is configured to where the swash must travel down for positive pitch, but you're not even running the stock head. Geometrically speaking, I don't see why you would NEED to maintain the same swash movement with the Guai head. The pitch links are a straight shot from the swash to the pitch arms. If you mount the grips in the "leading" orientation, upward swash movement will generate positive pitch, period.

Hi Skookum,
Can you give us an update on the 720 development? Any light at the end of tunnel?
