Default 720.... the BIG question.... HOW MUCH?

Any indications yet at the cost?

I cannot imagine with the features this thing has it can be less than a v-bar? But from what I've read it will be worth!.... and I heard the unit is coming "VERY SOON".... ?

I think we all want to know!

My guess is close to 400$

The biggest concern is WHEN?

I think it'll be priced at $400 as well. Same as the TotalG.

When the 360 was introduced it was considerably lower priced than the competition, making FBL an option for a guy like me. I just cannot predict Skookum forgoing the philosophy that made them a success in the first place-- for this reason my money is bet, that the unit will be a great value just like the 360 was and is.

Art said it would be "competitive with the v-bar," which is going for $475.

As for when, I'm guessing and hoping before the 10th...of this month...this year...2010...

I donīt really mind how much since I want to test all the high-end FBL newcomers. Taking into account its superior features and future update options on the one hand, and the competitivness of the FBL-market on the other, I would say it will be priced slightly obove the TotalG. My tip is $ 400-450.

Don't forget, when you buy the European units, you are paying at least $1.50 for each Euro. I'm hoping that Art will take that into consideration.

Im with Czech dave

I think it will be about 400-450 Art did say it would be competitive with the Mini V bar a while ago.

The competition is getting better and better which should see either a drop in prices or an increase in technical features. Lets hope we get the drop in prices first!!

Cheers

I think if it's under 400, they'll have to reduce the price of the 360, so I think 400-450.

i can find an align 3g for 250$. i will go for that. the new skookum giro is not what i need. dont need data logging, autoleveling and stuff like this. thats more for kids that like to play around with electroincs. i need a cheap and good working giro - sorry u missed it imho - unless u sell it at max 300$

Talking good + cheap = fairytail

Bestan,
the problem is there is no GOOD and CHEAP 3-axis gyro out there....... so either you buy cheap (3G) or you buy a good one........

It would be hard to tell if they missed the mark if it hasn't even been released yet.

Expect to only get what you pay for, words to live by in all avenues of life in my opinion is all.

OK.. i posed the COST question.. but really.. now I realize we shouldn't really care about prices really... one example... get a 3G... save $200... then have an unexplained $250 crash. Doesn't matter. I don't mind prices at all. In fact I just bought 2 Mikados... and I have some peace of mind since I know I can trust them... but I wouldn't balk at selling them to get 720s if they pan out... Compared to the cost of crashes.. FBL unit costs are irrelevant.

I rationalize my FBL purchases as a "new heli."
