Should be same as the dx8/dx18. Only issue might be swash type, single servo type is listed as normal.

Anything else?

+1 the servo type was a bit annoying... took a while to figure out (for me)

Thanks for replying! I have only setup my dx6i for helis one time so none of the settings are ituitive to me.. sorry. Im looking at the dx8 setup sheet now but there is so many differences in the menues that i cant figure out what to put in where.. for example in flight mode setup the alternatives is totaly different from the dx8.. also what switches to use for d/r and expo. It would help alot to have a setup sheet for the dx9 or a .spm file and take it from there..

I cant understand why there is no setup sheets or youtube vids that adress the issue

Thanks for the help though!

I based my 300x set up on the dx8 for my dx6 (I think it has the same airware as the dx9) and it works. If the dx6 spm files can be loaded into the dx9 I can send you a copy. You may have to change servo reversals depending on what servos you are using.

Thanks! I dont know if the setup is the same for the dx6.. I found the spm file for the 300cfx on spektrums site https://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/...0#prod_manuals. Do you think that would work?

It should be near enough. You may have to play with the servo settings. It would be worth a try as it costs nothing!

aoello,
I am having the same problem in setting up the DX9 for the 300X.
I have been advised that the 300CFX is NOT compatible with the 300X, but I have not checked it out myself.
Did you eventually manage to program the DX9?
Any information gratefully received,
Tony

Nope, they are mounted in different positions from factory so they wont have the same settings. 300cfx is mounted normal and 300x inverted inside the frame...

300x with top mounted fbl would have the same settings as a 300cfx

Thanks Livan75.
I shall see how I get on with the 300CFX set up when flying the 300X with my DX9 once I have altered the AR7200 Rx position.
