Default Installed Nav Lights

Had some time off from work, so I decided to install some nav lights on the 300X that I got from eBay for 6 bucks.

Turned out pretty good, till the first good crash. LOL!

What caused the crash and how bad was it?

I did something similar after I first got the heli. I thought it might be good for orientation. I learned pretty quickly that the lights were pretty much invisible during the day and, like you said, it makes for a lot of complication in the event you do crash. In the end I decided it wasn't worth it and saved the lights for a possible scale build in the future.

It sure does help with the orientation for sure when it's not to bright out. It looks cool on those cloudy days and for those evening flights. I did originally buy the lights for a scale Bell 206 build but decided to scrap the project for now.
