Default Powered glider question

I've gotten interested in powered gliders, and have more or less decided to start with an Easy Glider Pro from Hobby Lobby.

I also have a Trex 450 that isn't getting used much, and I'm hoping that I can strip most of the stuff off of it and use it to rig the glider. It has an Align 430L motor with whatever ESC these came with at the time and Hitec 65 MG servos. Also, I have a pile of 3s 2200mah Lipos. The Rx is a Spektrum AR7xxx of some sort.

I figure the servos will probably be OK, but I'm wondering about the motor and ESC- can I use it in this application, and if so, what would be a good size prop for it? Motor will probably only run on the climb-outs- maybe 60 seconds max.

The powered gliders I've seen have the prop directly driven from the motor's main shaft, which would eliminate the 430L as a possible powerplant. It would spin way too fast.
