Default What engine for the G4

I might be converting one of my G4's to nitro and im stuck between deciding on the redline 100 and muffler combo due to competitive price.
Although ive been having trouble finding reviews good or bad on this motor combo.

The other option im looking at is the 105hz-r and muffler combo but it costs twice as much.

Could anyone share there experience with these motors or something else you might be using.

Thanks

I'm running a YS 91 SR On mine without any performance issues at all. At our field we have a guy running the OS 105 and his is very powerful but a little quirky on the tuning and it drinks fuel something fierce. Another G4 here is running the redline and honestly it is flying great. They all seem to be great candidates. I get the best flight times, the 105 has the best power and the redline is a great mix of them. Mine is the only one with more than 100 flights though...(going on 200) so no idea on life of the other two.

I have the YS 120 in mine and I think they are the best engines out there...a few I know are running their 105s with the TT 100s pipe with good results...I have not seen a TT100 engine yet but I would like too...I would not dismiss them at all.....

I ran a YS 120 in my G4 for the first 60 flights; then, I switched to YS91SR. I set my head speed for 1600 to learn new flying skills. The resutls is I get 11 minute flights and when include autos in the practice sessions, my flight time is about 15 minutes.

The G4 is an amazing flying machine. The guy I fly wiith (Bob) has 170 flights on his with no crashes. He wore out the ball on the engine throttle and had to auto in it because the motor quit. The link came of the ball. He installed a new ball and was back up in the air in a 1/2 hr. He runs a YS3DRS and it has 130 plus flights on it.

Best of luck with you engine selection!
