Haven't fly yet until this weekend, still under setting up the Vbar gov. I have built for 2 nights long and found some concerns:-
- It's a bit difficult to put the 4mm pin throw the tail gear.
- The tail boom come with only 1 end holes pre-drilled, for the mainframe side need to be drilled (some steel chips will come off inside the torque tube and need to be remove after then)
- Need to be careful about steel chips from the pre-fabricated mainframe which come from I think chassis mounting bolts.

Loving the tail gear box and rotor so much and as well as the motor mount also...very nice.

Really nice! What are your first flight impressions? Does it feel heavy?

"??Does it feel heavy??"

I think his answer will be necessarily subjective based on what's he's used to flying

The Logo 700 is a well balanced, well designed, well proven, and one tough heli mechanically. It also flies like a dream, and is well behaved.

BUT...if you're accustomed to the feel of very light helis with super high head speeds (say like a Goblin and the way they are often set-up), the Logo 700 will by any subjective measure, feel "heavy".

It doesn't look like it is suffering from any lack of performance (again, a subjective point of view). But a Goblin it's not (thank goodness)

The 1st flight impression is "XXTREME STABLE"

After some fine tune for my new bird, I agreed what Kyle said Logo 700 is a well balanced, well designed coz the response of cyclic and also the power is much enough. I used to fly 690 blade for my CF frame 600SE before in 2050rpm (3rd party blade grip), but I noted my new bird can cater much higher cyclic pitch and of coz even in higher rpm as well. I will try to keep on my flying report but unfortunately, my flying skills like a mess...

Cheers

Franky

Just noticed the little fan behind your motor. Is that standard or something you added?

guys,

i have a problem on my yge 160gv with vbar silverline.

1) do i need to do the throttle calibration on my tx? do i connect the yge rx cable to vabr or to my rx? i'm using sbus.

2) The motor spool up only when my throttle is around 70%. Do i need to do some setting on vabr gov 2 settings?

Pls advise..

Thanks a lot.

To answer question 1, yes to throttle calibration...do it in the vbar software. YGE rx cables goes to vbar NOT receiver.

Watch this video.

Just flew mine today for the first time. Got it Thursday evening and had it built by Friday morning (4 am! I was too excited to leave it alone). It flies just amazing. Took it easy on the flight just to get a feel for it. Never set up a vbar governor before and yge is new to me. It was a HUGE (I mean really HUGE) hit at the field. I'm using MKS 950/980HBL servos and spektrum dsmx satellite receivers.

Hope to have a video posted in a few hours. As for how it feels, mine actually felt very light on the sticks. I set 9 degrees on the cyclic and 65 on the acceleration for the tail. I also set mine up for precise and 40 on the pitch pump. Realize I only have two flights on it so far so ill probably adjust those settings. It's just so precise! It stops where you want it. Effortless!! I fly a Goblin, too. But also have a Compass 7HV and two 700e's. So far the logo was more exciting than all of them. Just my opinion...
