The static problem is only on the 600 and seems to be from the tail pulley being electrically isolated from the boom because of the carbon fiber tail case.

Step 3 still does not work. Should be step2c_tailrotor.wmv not step2b_tailrotor.wmv

Bob.....

what is the size difference compared to the Trex 500 ??
When the build is done you must let us know which you prefer
Logo 500 3D or Trex 500CF.

I saw a pic a little while back with a Logo5003d sitting right next to the Rex500 and the Logo is a little bigger. It looked like the same size as the Huracane, spins 550m Blades

Is that right Bob?

Here's some pics to show the size differences. Not that the Logo is swinging 560s here.

The Logo 500 is a lot bigger than the Rex500. It's more like a tad smaller than a Rex600.

Looking good Bob. Yea not that it was needed but I did change out my bearing block bolts to 12mm just as a peice of mind thing so that I knew they were through the nylock portion of the bolt. I have a few friends that simply used what was supplied and no one has had their back out or anything.

This really is a nice looking heli. I'm seriously considering getting one for myself

One thing that turns me off though, are the tail blade grips. I mean, why in the heck would they use plastic molded-in balls on the grips instead of a screw-on metal ball??? Seems like a very "cheapish" way to do it on an otherwise well designed heli

Still, looks like an awesome heli for sure!

They work VERY well - Mikado plastic a bit different from some of the cheap Chinese stuff - plastic generally lighter than metal as well as keeping the costs down.

Yea I gotta agree... other than sanding the seam.... These molded balls are not going to be a problem!
