Yes It took me a bit to understand about the ridge on the link I'm sure it will work ... I've done it to two trex 600's without any issues ... Greetings my friend

Cheers

I believe with the BeastX ... it's not as important to have the blue light as it is to have 6 degrees in the geometry setting. You might want to search that! I haven't flown or set up a BeastX in over a year but if my memory serves me right ... 6 degrees is more important!

Cheers

Fellow Freaks,
I just maidened my Trex 600N just converted from a 600N Super Pro to a DFC bird. I attempted to use a Align 3gx fresh from my 550 kit, but one problem after another and I yanked it! I went AR7200BX and wow what a difference! I did not seem to have any zero pitch issues? I am using the new DFC swash, Align DFC head and the newest DFC main shaft (the one that fixed the third bearing block issue.) I mechanically set up and then went into menu G (on the AR7200BX) and set my servos to their 90* center. I then fudged them a very tiny bit to get true zero of pitch. Then in menu J, you have to set 6* and get a blue light. I could not do anything to get it near 6* and stay blue. I got it to about 7.5* and that was it. A buddy of mine flies Beast and said not to sweat it we could adjust it out if need be in cyclic settings. I even called and talked to Horizon Hobby support and the tech said "not to worry about it"! It is more so people do not set up crazy cyclic pitch and then have issues with crazy binding. I am running +10/-10 on my collective and 7.5 on the cyclic. Test flew today and bird was SOLID! We did not push it real hard, just light patterns. (I nicked up a DFC ball link pretty good, stupid ball link pliers, so I did not want to stress it to point of failure until me new ones arrive.) I guess after I get my new link we will see how it handles. I am by no means a 3D freak. Just patterns loops, rolls and working on inverted.

By no means bragging that I did not have issues just sharing my story and set up info in hopes it helps others!

Default 600n to dfc

Hello I have the same problem. Align have stock 600n dfc and I think all working good without cut. I have change all parts and problem is with pitch. Why doesn't fit? It's only one way to cut the elevator arm?
