Steve, that is awesome. I really wanted to see it in Dalton but had to get home for the "Storm Of The Century". Perhaps Panama City in April?

Sorry we missed each other!! You had far more important things to attend to for sure. Hope all is well at your homestead.

In all honesty, you didnt miss anything by not seeing it in person. It's just another big RC Airwolf, not much unlike the several hundred before me.

In case you missed my post in the other thread....

Some amazing shots of my turbine Airwolf courtesy of Andy Griffith. He is a very gifted photographer and a heck of a nice guy!

Very, very, very impressive!

So much better looking than the ones we used to fly over 30 years ago!

look realistic and that's exactly what I personally would look for in a scale heli. Honestly detail scaling takes way more time and skills than scale flying

That looks absolutely fantastic. I would say that it looks exactly like the full size but I have never seen a full size one except on the television a long time ago.

Brilliant. Please let us know how you get on the next time you fly it.

Thanks so much for the kind words friends! She is a real joy to fly. The Lady has been packed up for the winter hibernation. She wont get out until late Spring or early Summer of next year. She will of course adorn the skies at IRCHA 2018. I will be starting another big scale build soon to keep me occupied in the mean time.

Yes it's absolutely fantastic. Please keep us posted on progress.

Just because it is built doesn't mean it has to be the end of the thread. Please let us know what shows you will be attending, whether you do any modifications etc.

How is the Airwolf doing? Has it been flying much recently?

Hi!

Wolfie has been in hiding away in the Lair since last September. She will be spreading her wings first week of August at IRCHA.

I just saw it in person at the Southern Scale Challange. I was totally blown away. The craftsmanship is top notch. Very nice.

I saw it at the Scale Tent at IRCHA 2018. It was great to have read this whole thread, then see the helicopter in person! I did not get to see it fly, however.
