Spork, any update on the video? I just ordered one from Hobby Cool and a setup video would be great. Thank you.

Default Fixed Pitch

Has anybody used the hobbywing or BeastX on a fixed pitch setup? I've built a 450 with the funcopter fixed pitch head and not sure what to do with the "pitch" setups. There is the 6 degree setting and the max pitch setting.

I am using Emax ES08MD servos for my cyclic - here are the specs:

Speed: 0.10/0.08 sec/60°
Torque: 2.0/2.4 kg.cm 27.8/33.3 oz.in (4.8V/6.0V)
Size: 32x11.5x24mm 1.25x0.45x0.94in
Weight: 12g 0.42oz
Dead Band Width: 1usec

Any recommendation what to set the Swashplate Servo Frequency to?

Thanks

Would you like help?? I can make some vids maybe starting at the other end of the instructions...

I just went through the whole setup process with my friend and we got mine working flawlessly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some more videos. I was a little nervous doing these, and talking, controlling heli, thinking, and videoing at the same time was hard
But hopefully they help.

You should be using these videos in conjunction with the BeastX V1 Setup Manual, as well as a pitch gauge
If you get confused on a step, read the manual and watch the video, and between the manual and video you should be able to see what the words in the manual actually mean.

Step 9 - Letter I
Swashplate Mixing/Servo Direction
*Servo reversing might be necessary to get this one right later. What you are looking for is the correct servos moving to your inputs, direction isn't important yet.

Step 10 - Letter J
Swashplate Cyclic Pitch Adjust
Disclaimer - this is what I interpret the reasoning for this setting as. Not sure how accurate my interpretation is. But the method is right

Step 11 - Letter K
Collective Pitch Limit

Step 12 - Letter L
Swashplate Travel Limit
FYI - Per the BeastX V1 manual, you should leave it on Blue!!!! Only reason the other options exist is IF you do bind. If you don't bind at blue, leave it.

Step 13 - Letter M
Swashplate Sensor Direction

Step 14 - Letter N
Pirouette Optimization

Spork, I ordered the HB800/450 DFC combo from HobbyCool. Will the stock Pro swash work with this or do I need to order a special one as shown on Gopher7 post?
Thank you

the DFC swash is built/design for the DFC head. the links from the grips to the swash is much better supported. the chances of the links popping off is also drastically reduced while using the DFC swash.

Spork,
Thanks for your answers, this is very helpful. My DFC head did not come with a feathering shaft, will the pro shaft work or do I need a Align/Tarot DFC feathering shaft?
