Please Help me Power Supply HP DPS-1200FB A
I'm trying to set up 3 of these in series I followed instructions on the RC Heli Nation thread and isolated two of the ps by removing the two rear screws and drilling out the standoffs for the CCA and then replaced these fasteners with nylon fasteners. #8 nylon machine style screw from beneath with one nylon as a spacer between the case bottom and CCA board, then another nut on the board retainer at each of the two screw locations.
The problem is after isolating the the DC outputs, I now have no continuity between the DC outputs and the case or the AC ground. If I allow the cases to touch while powered the output voltage shows a much higher Voltage (104-112V) rather than 37.6V when the non-floated case is insulated from the floated case. AC side is still grounded on all three cases. Any ideas as to why the ps are doing this is it just that one of the floated PSs is still not truly floated and still grounded some how?
