3gx or beastx

I have bought 5 3Gs, a 3GX and have another conversion from 3G to 3GX+APS on a TR700 in progress. They all worked with little problem. We also bought a BeastX and that is the only one that went in the dumpster. It flew but it was very poor compared with the Aligns. We also didn't like that you cant apply trims in the air- ugh!

I Agree with most on here about the 3G / 3GX Systems working properly if setup properly.

I bought my TREX700E with a 3G already installed & it flew terribly. I joined a helicopter club and one of our members is a ALIGN Team Pilot.

He fixed my 700 to fly PERFECTLY with the 3G System..All he did was Set it up Correctly!

I would not Change it now at all, It Flies Beautifully!

I believe a good true value of something is what it is worth used. Think about this:

New Align 3g unit plus sensor http://www.completeheli.com/Align-RC...44gq2n4tqcnqp6 = over $300

Used Align 3g unit and sensor = $35 - $40 check on the classified for yourself


New Align 3gx unit http://helidirect.com/align-3gx-prog...01-p-23880.hdx = $240

Used Align 3gx unit = $70 - $80 again, check for yourself


New Beastx http://helidirect.com/microbeast-bea...it-p-22946.hdx = $200

Used Beastx = at least $150 - $170 check for yourself in classifieds

Do a little research and I think you will see which one is better. You are guaranteed to get at least 75% of the retail price for a used Beastx unit while you will not even get 1/6 of the retail for the 3g and way under 1/2 for the 3gx.
