Synergy E5 motor questions??

Hello all.

Been enjoying my Synergy E5 but was taking a look at a few different motor combos out there and was wondering if these potentials combo could work as a possible upgrade in the future.

Scorpion 4025-890KV on Pulse 7S 4500 65C packs

Quantum 4125-560KV on Pulse 6S 2600 45C packs

What I am looking for is a power system that doesnt tend to bog as much as current set-up during 3d flight. Currently running a Quantum 4125-1100KV on Pulse 6S 5000 35C packs on 2500 head speed.

First off is the power levels of the Scorpion 890KV at only 8S? Next would going 2600mah packs on a 550 size helicopter give me ample flight time?

The bogging is your collective management you can fly what you have without bogging, just need to practice. Adding more power just masks your collective management errors. But If you have your heart set on upgrading your power system (and what man doesn't want a bigger motor) you can't go wrong with scorpion.

I agree with Frequency on the collective management. Going from a power set up to a gasser taught me the value of collective management, the manouvers just look nicer when the heli isn't relying on raw power for smooth transitions. But then I lije slower 3D flights over hard fast 3D.
