A pretty easy one is also mounting it with the YGE mounting plate from SAB for the 770, the H0165-S.
Have used some screws from my hardware set from an Align 700E machine, but think you can use the originals also, with a little more hassle.
It fits perfectly.

See the last post on page 1 for my mounting solution. Couldn't repost the pic. A little bit of hand work, but happy with the results.

I am changing my esc from the YGE to a Kontronik this week. I see the very nice installations here, but I have question. Is there a reason that the Mikado YGE was mounted up so high with those plastic bolts? Is there an electrical conduction concern or some vibration concern? The esc's on my other Helis are just velcro'd on to the frames. Is there something different with this heli as it seems that no installation allows the esc to touch the frame. Sorry if it's a stupid question, but it need to get this right.

Heres how I did mine. It is a similar version to doe of the ones above. I wasn't lucky enough to have room to mount directly to the heli so I had to make a plate that attached to the 3 holes where the YGE mounted, then fasten the ESC to the plate. I was also able to cut a hole in the heat shrink zoo that I could see the fuse.

I used the MiniCopter #D135 CF mounting plate adapter.
http://www.peakaircraft.com/Products...n=D135&pID=239

It's specifically designed for the Kosmik 160/200's bolt mounting
pattern....but it adapts to a Diablo....as seen on another thread here.

Used them on both my 700XX and 800XX.

Comes with a variety of spacers.

The only thing I had to do was adapt the 4-bolt pattern used
to attach the plate to the 3-bolt frame threaded inserts....
on the 700XX and 800XX Logo's.

Countersinking is required so that the bolt "top" doesn't touch
the Kos's case....the Kos's mounting grommets help in this respect.

While on the subject of mounting a Kos 160/200, one must use the
4 mounting lugs on the Kos...no velcro at all.....it's highlighted in the
manuals.

The high quality FETs used in the Kos....happen to have the top
side of their "case"...."hot" with voltage....

By using velcro straps, rather than the included mounting lugs, the case
could be "depressed" such that it can get in close contact with the FET
case/cases....causing a disaster.

Now if one can't get the D135 CF adapter....try your LHS and get a sheet
of 1/16" plywood....and "whittle" away on it, using your dremel tools, until
it resembles a D135 adapter plate.

Your "planker" friend can whip that up quickly.

If you want to get fancy, use balsa instead of plywood, and laminate the balsa
between two outer layers of CF sheet....using CA to adhere the laminate.

Keep in mind that these adapter plate must be thick enough to allow proper
bolt hole countersinking....

Anyhoo....IMO....a Kos mounting plate adapter is the way to go....
as that's the way it has been designed to be mounted.

Here's how I've done it. Two pieces of 2mm carbon angle.
