Hello HEIM JOINT,

The thickness is 0.453 Inch (11.5mm.). When the blades are in and the bolt/nut is thightened it's 0.433 Inch (11mm.).

Thank you.

I bought Heim Joint's kasama and stock bolt mods, the stock ones worked the best.

The Align metal set would fit and be the best balance.

Based on the evidence presented it seems obvious that the mod works and works very well.

So the question is, with this mod being fairly commonplace on the net for at least a year, why do you think none of the latest released helis have implemented this design yet?
MSH Protos has Chinese weights integrated into the tailgrip design. It would be very interesting to see Heim Joint's precision measurements on the stock Protos tail.

Hey Bob, could you check and see if these will fit through the tail grips on the Atom. I'm pretty sure they are the same size, but I was wondering if you could see if they will work with the Atom grips before I go out and buy a set. You are the only person I know with both an Atom and a T500

TRUST ME! After doing and playing with the 250 today! It is in DIRE need for a tail weight mod!

I am not kidding and I SHOWED this to Align today... The tail STOCK is worse than a 450 SE as far as servo forces go..... SERIOUSLY...

More playing with this soon so stay tuned but I think after the demo I did today...... We may see more balanced grips soon... Wanna bet ?

Default Trex 500 Stock Blade Grips

HEIM JOINT has done a great job on his research and product. I finally put a set of his handy work on my Trex 500 with stock blade grips and wow what a difference. The piro rate is much faster and I had to reduce the gain I had on my GY401.

The TREX600 uses the same bladegripps as the 700.
But the tailblades on the 700 are bigger.
Can i still use the 600 mod on the 700, even if it may be off a bit.

And can I use anything for the Bade400? (indoor play thing)

They are designed and tested, I havent posted the results yet because thanks to finless I cant make these fast enough.
I also made an upgrade for the blade grip with a bearing spacer set that takes all the slop out of the t250 blade grips. those should be ready in about a week.
The pushrod forces with new blade grip bearings and the chinese weights is less than 2.5 oz.
I have video posts on all the above that I will post on the T250 forum.

The weights are signifigantly different between the T600 and T700 because of the blades. I have them designed and tested for both the stock plastic and Kasama grips in both 600 and 700 sizes.
I will post the test videos In thier respective forums They will be ready to ship in less than 2 weeks.

Are those the weight mods at the base of each blade grip? I love my furion but didn't know if it needed a kit. I was going to do some testing this weekend.
