250 V 450 builds
So far my build experience is 1 450 and 1 250. Currently I'm building 2 450 Pro birds - so limited experience.
My First build was a HK 450 - never flew. 450 flybarred that was missing parts from the outset. Found it frustrating. That was 2 years ago. Second build a CopterX 250 SE FBL. One of my favorite birds to fly now. That was a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm building a HK450 Pro TT Fbl and an ALZRC Devil 450. I'm enjoying the builds so far but overall have to say I enjoyed working on the smaller heli a lot more. My initial thoughts were that the 450 would be easier to work on but I have to say the 250 I found much easier. Maybe that will change once I have the 450's flying. I think so long as you can be gentle on the screws and not over-tighten things, the 250 is pretty easy to build and wire.
I actually found wiring my Protos 380 more of a challenge (although the mechanical build is a long way ahead of the 250).

I never understood the idea that the 250 was a hard to work on heli. I have found mine to be easy enough to work on. My 450 pro on the other hand can be a bit of a PITA, but still not too bad once you figure a few things out.
