Talking Xcited nubie Rakon 230s first flights

Hey everyone, first of all thanks to thothose who share such good info on here. Its helped me tremendously. I purchased a night 230s in Oct. Was doing ok with just hovering and lil bit of ff got cocky crashed really bad after trial and error and finding a bad esc after initial rebuild and burnt a brand new tail motor learned the hard way... I have replaced every thing except the receiver and servos and linkage. I up graded full Rakon kit, new blades, new main shaft and gear, new main and tail motors, new esc, and a dx9 black, thankfully my wife loves me lol. Lots of trips to the lhs . This site has been a huge help and hopefully ill be able to contribute. I've been into rc for 30 years. Cut my teeth racing at megatrak in south jersey as a kid. Never looked back. I have dabbled in a 30 nitro bout 20 years ago its in a strip pit somewhere in Kansas lol. Had a cpl trainer planes but never got serious. Always had a passion to fly but always put it on the back burner. Its my time to fly. Ran 3 packs today finally after all the headaches it came together. Flew very well just hovering very smooth and stable. In cooling my jets and taking it slow following the advice I've read and heard and know better. Thanks again have a great one everyone!!

Nice! Complete rebuild with aftermarket parts? Good job and quite impressive for a newbie. Keep it going! Now some pictures
