Default Selling my last 550 :(

My last Hurricane 550 is going away
Thought I'd post a link.....https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=152838
Way to many projects right now.
Well that and my 600 went down with well over $400 in damage.
Has anyone heard of someone breaking a 2mm G-10 trex frame in 17 places?

$39 at helidirect (just two G-10 plates)
of course almost everything inside said frames broke, (My 2nd CC85 lasted 2 days!)
Probably not gonna go G-10 again as the crushing effect was a complete pisser.
Losing power during an inverted pirouette climb-out sucks.
(It looked nice till it dropped like a rock )
Was flying like I was on the sim not really realizing the consequence$ of crashing that hard.

Those new Hurri frames are the best available by far.
Direct to swash for full size servos was enough reason for me but add the motor mount and the likes really makes them shine over the others.
I would definitely buy a set if I still had my hurris.
Cutting it down to one heli for now as that wreck was a doozy.

Busy trying to find these new LIFE batts packaged like lipos http://www.infinity-hobby.com/main/n...ewsdesk_id=246

Sorry to hear that rmccomb - both your crash and also that you are leaving the clan. My recent crash (nose first from about 100ft) reminded me why I like the Gaui 550 so much, even if I didn't have all of the parts needed the cost would have been about $55

boom $5
mainshaft $3
canopy $0 (OK - $25 if I wasn't fixing to old one)
Main gear $4
Blades - $16
flybar - $2

Im pretty sure a Li-Fe is the same as an A123 cell

A123 is the brand/manufacture and Li-Fe is the chemistry

oh man... that was just plain painful. i could feel your pain 1000 miles away. was that your hurri?

(0:40) - man in the desert looking for a sign from God (with small winglike creatrues scampering around his feet.... must be some advanced form of marmot... possibly a plankiophilius marmatosus)

"that's one of the things that i liked about airtronics... (SMACK)... auuhhhhh... oh my god that's ryan! what the f..."
