Default Yep/yge 60a esc fitting

I just bought a Mini P from a fellow HF member and I need an esc to fit under the battery tray. How well does the yge/yep 60a esc fit under the battery tray while still having room for the motor pulse wires?
Or maybe I should go with the yep 40a if it's smaller? I know there is problems with the 45a v2 so I won't go that route.

YGE fits fine. Don't know about the YEP but I thought it is a different size. It would be best to check dimensions. You don't want anything wider than the YGE. Maybe someone else with more knowledge will step in.

I just checked the sizes and if the yge 60a just fits, then the yep 60a won't. I will have to go with the yep 40a, it is the same 25mm width as the yge 60a.

Is there any other inexpensive esc options that will fit under the battery tray?

If your mini is 6s a talon 35 will work in the stock location. If 3s though the 35 is probably a bit undersized.

I use a Talon 25 on my 5s/6s mini but it's under the main shaft for better cooling. It barely gets above ambient temp.

Right now it is 3s but will be 6s when that new xnova motor is released. I have a friend that uses a kontronik 40a on his 3s mini p with zero problems.

My fbl is going under the main shaft. I had a crash a couple years ago that cut the wires and tossed the gyro from the boom, so I won't put anything on the boom again.
