Default Shogun Ptich Curve Settings

The manual says to set it up +- 7 degrees of pitch, is this what everyone is setting them to?

I have +- 9 degrees on all my other heli's, or more.

Haven't got mine flying yet but all I've read says +/- 7 on pitch is plenty.

Micros dont like to be overpitched, you gotta remember most that are 3ding them are running almost 3K headspeeds so you cant readliy compare to the pitch you are running on larger models

What headspeed does the AXI with 18T Pinion yield on your zoom tabb?

Thanks in advance

Hey Tabb,

Thanks for that info. Is the 3k headspeed normal for most of the brushless setups?

Also, I was going to use my regular pitch gauge for setup, or should I just use the cardboard one that comes in the kit?

Baja, I have never tached it but I think it should be around 2600 in theory dropping to 2300 in hard manuvers.

Hard to tell by ear

Charlie, I dont really use a guage on micros so hard to tell which one is better. I just do verted and inverted climbouts and see how it does.

The stock one with the shogun will probably be a good starting point though

Thanks Tabb,

I guess there is going to be a large learning curve with the Micro's, just like the larger versions.

I really appreciate your help ! And everyone else's also !
