Default 12S to 6S THIS BIRD ROCKS!!!!

I have to agree with your guys here. This one is a keeper.

A few months ago, I crashed my X50E on it's 22nd flight. I was already contemplating of just selling the usable parts. But, I just love how it flies that I hold one to selling it as parts. Come this new T-Rex 700e DFC kit, it took all my funds away. It was just last months that I got all the parts I need and flew it just last weekend. It is still a blast!!! Still prefer flying it than my new T700e DFC and my now sold T600efl Pro.

Coming from the set up of 12S power...now to just 6S (sharing packs with my 700), it still fly just the same!

Wish more people will give this X50E a try. They will be surprised.

I'm sure it's a great bird. I like my nitro X50 a lot. Too bad there wasn't a belt version of the E model.

Per the X50e instruction manual, 2400rpm is the max headspeed. I have a 12s setup with a 700mx 510kv motor and can get well over 8min flight time (no 3d, just FF, loops, rolls, piros, etc.) at 2000rpm headspeed. I have IU1 set to 2175 but really do not see the need for it since it really just consumes power quicker with little increase in authority.

Flying style largely dictates head speed.
