Default SK-GPS2 Order

I ordered an SK-GPS2 on March 30th taking advantage of the sale they have going on. My Skookum Direct account still has it as processing. Anyone heard of any delays or anything?

I've not heard of any delays.

You've probably already read the thread linked to below since it's the Spring Sale thread, but if not, #33 & #34 indicates they had loads.

Probably the best thing to do is email them.

I ordered 2 the same day you did, after a week I sent a request for info from their website which Art responded to, it took another few days before they sent an email my order was shipped.

I have already sent 2 emails and have yet to hear anything. Not sure what is going on. Thanks for the info.

I ordered a GPS2 before the sale (Mar 15), sent an email, and also haven't heard anything. Sort of like a Nessie sighting, Art stuck his head up, took a breath, and dove back down again.

Good luck getting your shipment. I had ordered a unit in early Jan, sent multiple emails which went unanswered, and ultimately had to resort to submitting a claim via Paypal to get a refund. And I was not the only one that had these problems with Skookum. I sense the company is running on fumes and will be out of business before you know it.

This is very sad
a year ago i send a 720 for repair from Greece , it took about 2 weeks to receive it back plus a new set of 720+gps for a good price and without any communication problem .... what happen skookum ?

Just heard back from Skookum, they apologized for the delay and said a batch of GPS's are going out tuesday. I hope they dont go under...I really like my Skookum stuff.

They are far from going under, it is a small company run by a very small staff. Most the recent issues are related to their supply chain in long waits from what I can discern. Although the heli market has taken a hard hit and lots of companies are now struggling through it?
SK customer service responses are hit and miss. Mine have gone from insanely stellar to anyone there? at times.

Plus we have Georgi who has been here batting hard for us users doing a thankless volunteer job involving tons of hours for us in the back door avenues. Many times personally chatting with the staff or Art himself at SK on your behalves.

I ordered one on the spring sale, was told it would ship the 4/6 heard nothing further no shipping notice nothing. Emailed them ,no response, emailed again took awhile to get response told it had not shipped, will ship this week. Fingers are crossed.
