A question about setting my SK-720 gains with my DS-16

Ok, waiting for my new TX to arrive and thinking about setting up my heli's. My 550 will be first with a SK-720 and GPS 1. Basicaly what I want to know is if I have the heli in position hold, and adjust the tail gain, will I just be fighting the GPS compass and not getting the desired tuning I am after?

I suppose in "altitude hold" would prevent any other input other than my gain adjustments?

=] Great question! All Tx gain changes while in GPS mode take effect by switching to manual mode then toggle back into GPS mode to write it........

Ok, so I can't be in a GPS mode and see the effects of the gain changes.

=] Let me say it another way as I think you missed a bit? ie,

1, while in GPS pos hold mode

2, increase Tx tail gyro gain channel

3, nothing happens

4, quickly toggle the GPS switch to manual and back again to GPS for the gain change to take effect

so you will see the result in the time it takes you to flick a switch...
