Default 4G3 brushed question.

Hi,

A 4G3 brushed, with transmitter (6 ch) and spare blade, used. How much it worth?

The only information i can get is for double brushless version...

Does that mean that the brushed version is very old? how old? Will i be able to get all parts for the brushed version ?

Thank you,

Max

If you haven't bought the heli yet, don't. The 4G3 is becoming absolete and is very finiky to tune.

Haaaaaaa, brought it yesterday afternoon, since no one answered and got a lot of views on the thread, i was suspecting that it was a good deal. 80$ for the 4G3 + blades and a very little spares + 6ch transmitter... 2 or 3 batts....

The guy who sold it to me said that he was unable to make it stable in the air, but with some tuning, it will be very nice and stable (he said).....

Now you worrying me ! Darn, shounldnt brought it...

Thanks for the reply sir,

Max

I bought the double brushless/metal head version with 2602 last year from xHeli the day after Thanksgiving. The special price that day was $150.

This is a helicopter is very hard to fly. Very unstable from the perspective that it drifts fairly quickly without stick input. Mine had been tuned but is extremely sensitive to stick input. This may be a great thing for advanced 3d but I don't find it near as enjoyable as my Blade 120 SR which I can control in very confined spaces.

Don't feel bad at all, that's his job to promote new products. I have 2x 4g3s and they are awesome little things. fly over grass, no damage on crashes. Try this on most other helis, you better have your wallet ready. also stay away from trees
