I have ordered from Dennis P at the HeliFarm and MotorRotor (Phil) at Leisure-Tech in Canada. Both give much better service then HeliWorld.

They both are also here on HF regularly helping us Century fliers. So gie them a PM and see.

I just got a PM from Dennis so taht seals my decision even if it costs me more. I have never got bad service from heliworld but I would like to try a new century dealer.

Here is a perfect example: I cant find the new n640 helis anywhere on heliworld site....I thought they were century dealer arm who then dished out parts to the rest of their dealer world??

I get great service for my Bergens and Audacity helis....So maybe I can find a dealer home with Century?

Another thing...Why did the new N640 move up market? I still love my raven/falcon as its still cost effective to fly/repair. I ahve flown the same raven off/on for 5+ years....I just dont see the same value on the new century design with all the cf/metal bling. I dont get it, but I like the new heli because its a century.

Im a LONG time flier..Not so much anymore though.

I would not so much call it a move upmarket, as the price of 399.95 is much the same as that of the Raven in 2014 dollars.

To me it is more of a move to come out with an up to date (more state of the art) heli that can make use of the "60" type of power from the current 55 size nitro engines, or in the electric field, one that could better harness the 10s and 12s power systems.

Of course, all of this leading edge, new design, means a new torque tube drive system that is superior to the Raven's. An FBL head that is superior to the Raven's, a prepainted F/G canopy that is lighter and nicer looking then the Raven's, a two point tail rotor control system that is better then the Raven's etc.

P.S. I am sure you will find dealing with Dennis means great service.

thanks Motorrotor! I will read about this new design and see if it fits me for next season. I am sure I will have more questions on the NE640 heli.

Get all my e640 parts from Dennis, including the parts to go stretched.
The e640 was always great...Dennis helped make it awesome
