Default X-Nova motors

I see 'Diabolo-combo's' on the Minicopter website, which include X-Nova motors.
Does anyone have experience with these motors?
I'm interested in the 4530-500 motor, is this one comparable with Scorpion 4525-520 in terms of torque and power rating?

From my understanding Xnova's are "re-branded" Xera motors. I recently installed an Xnova XTS 4530-480 in my Diabolo. I haven't powered it up yet so I can't comment on the performance. Everything I've read indicates the motors should be quite good. I contacted Gerd before ordering as he spoke quite highly of them. Coming with a "Diabaolo" specific shaft length is a bonus. The fit and finish is excellent.

I have one in my Diabolo S, the XTS 4530-525. Same as Chad, mine hasn't flown yet, so time will tell.

These motors look great, that's for sure. Thanks for the pics!
Looking forward to hear some flight experiences with these motors.

The motors colour scheme matches your Kosmik and fan perfectly.

I have the XNOVA 4530 500kv in my 7Hv and have the 4530 XTS 525kv ordered for my Diabolo.

I'm very happy with the 4530 in the 7HV and highly recommend it.The 4530 has 5000 watts and a 550 watts increase over the scorp 4525.So the difference in torque and power is quite noticeable in high power moves and full pitch punch outs.Plus love the look of these motors and think they really suit high class machines like the Diabolo.

They look very similar winds to the Scorpion motors of the same model number and differ from the Xera 4530 in that they have monofilament rather than braided wire. Look nice!

From what I understand they are handwound motors. I should have one for my gobbler in a week or two.

The XTS series, also called Temptation series, are single strand hand wound motors. The non XTS version motors are machine wound (I presume) multi-strand motors.

This product image says that even the performance series is hand wound.

They are all hand wound 100%. What size you think in your goblin?

Default xnova

I put a 4530 525 in my goblin. I would say its okay. Scorpion is just as powerful imho kde has more power all the way through over xnova. The price of the xnova isnt worth it. Its a cool running motor but if your after power stick with scorpion or get a kde
