7HV ULT Tail wag - My solution :)
I have been hunting tail wag on a new 7HV ULT for a long time...
I finally got help from a former Compass pilot (Walaker), thanks buddy!! The problem was the tail hub, that was asymmetrical. By wiggeling the blade holders, the hub rotated (hub not mounted on the tail shaft) I had already changed the tailshaft and hub. But both the original and first replacement hub was "bent". Just a tip to anyone chasing wag on the 7HV |

Hmm your saying the v2 tail hub was bent out of the box. I know this was a issue on the old original tail cause the hub was pretty thin and from the 6hv. Never heard of this on the never v2 tails

This is what i also i understand. Both hubs were bend, the one in the kit and the spare.
No QC? Strange..

Yepp, both, out of the box and first spare
Can't tell for sure that they where bent But both produced tail wag, and both spun around when wiggeling the blade holders... Our conclusion was assymetrical hubs The 7HV wag was a PITA for me... I have used so much time, not understanding what it could be. I have to admit that last time I changed hub, I changed the whole assembley (hub/blade holders) But I belive that asymmetric blade holders not would make a straight hub spin when wiggeling them ? Read about another user here at HF got rid of tail wag after changing the hub/blade holders |

Nope Bubba Gump... It took over 6 months before the wag problem was solved (winter time), so a little to late to argue about a hub
